After many years of dedicated service, our long-standing Managing Director, Nigel Archer, has made the decision to retire. Nigel’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping the business into the trusted and versatile chemical manufacturing partner it is today.
Following his retirement, Julie Milne—who has been part of the Superfine team for over 36 years—has officially stepped into the role of Managing Director. With a deep understanding of our business and strong relationships across the industry, Julie brings continuity, commitment, and a clear vision for the future of Superfine.
In 2024, Superfine became part of the Milbank Group, a family-run investment company with values that closely reflect our own. This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for Superfine—one that brings renewed energy, investment, and opportunity, while continuing to deliver the same exceptional service and reliability our customers have come to expect.
To reflect this new era, we’ve been working behind the scenes to refresh our brand identity. We’re proud to unveil a modernised logo and clearer messaging that better communicates who we are today—and where we’re heading.
A brand-new website is also on the horizon, designed to showcase our services, people, and capabilities in a more engaging and accessible way.

We continue to operate entirely in-house from our site in Forfar, proudly upholding our commitment to quality, flexibility, and customer-first service.
